It's time to register for new classes!
Are you interested in taking "free" GED, English Language, or Basic Education classes? If the answer is yes then give us a call at 602-340-0431. Registration will be at the Ann Ott Adult Learning Center on Thursday, June 26th. Day classes will register at 8:00 a.m and evening classes will register at 4:30 p.m. Don't miss this great opportunity to learn. Classes start July 7th and 8th and go until August 28th.

I've just started this blog in the hopes it will help get the word out about Ann Ott. I still have a lot to learn about computers so I would appreciate any help or input you can provide. I want to add a map and picture to this blog. I also want to find ways to link this blog to other places on the internet so people can find it. Any suggestions?

This post has sparked an almost extinguished flame, just seeing the fact that there is still help for people who want it, but dont know what to do about it has reminded me, that all I have to do is look. With that , I would like to help, and try and make a working link that may be copied and pasted, anywhere online, to pass the word. Hopefully, the learning center can accommodate the applicants, providing there are a huge number of interests. Thanks Julie. Maybe I will see you for the next class... Isaac

I am trying to call in but do not get an anser. I want to know if the GED courses are free and prepare for all areas of the test. Also what do I need to do to sign up.
Yes, the classes are free. Yes, the courses prepare for all areas of the test. All you need to sign up is to bring ID like a drivers license to prove you are a legal resident. No one is in the office to answer phones right now but if you call after 8:00 a.m on Monday, someone should be in the office to take your call. Call 480-377-4300. They can tell you when our next registration will be.

This site has actually closed down begining July 1, 2012. If you'd like to take English or GED classes you can attend classes at the 7th ave and Roosevelt site or you can wait until August and sign up at our new site which will be near 37th Ave and Thomas. (It is currently in the last stages of being built). In a few weeks you can probably reach someone there. The phone number will be the same as the old Ann Ott site... 480-377-4300.
